Ambicom (Modifier)

Shri Ambica Polyfill has developed a compound called Ambicom which improves various qualities of PP/HDPE woven sacks drastically and smoothens process by reducing the cost of final product. Ambicom is running successfully in India and Overseas.

Ambicom has been developed to enhance the properties in PP/HDPE woven sacks. This Compound works as a modifier, processing-aid and excellent bonding agent to enhance the following properties.

  1. Increases the elongation (1%- 2%) without reducing the tensile strength in PP/HDPE.
    Reduces the bottom seam failure.
    Increases the drop test properties.
    Option to increase the stretch ratio.
    Reduces the breakages in the tape- plant and looms.

    Better output in looms.

  3. Helps in reducing the extruder barrel temperature by 5 c to 10 c which results in power savings.
  4. Ambicom can be used in recycle polymer for polymeric stability, which results in better processing.
  5. Does not increase the cost of fabric.
  6. Increases the output of tape plant & looms.
  7. Reduces water carryover.
  8. Eliminates slippage problem in extruder.
  9. Option to increase the calcium carbonate master batch dosage.
  10. Available in granule form for easy handling.
  11. In higher denier from 1400 to 2500 the flow of material will be consistent.
  12. In tapeline and looms carbon formation will be eliminated due to consistent flow.
  13. Water carryover can be controlled.
  14. No variation in tape width.
  15. There will be less cotton formation in crill stand, wrap eyelets and compensator wire. Also cleaning time will be reduced by Ambicom in looms.
  16. Power formation reduces in running shuttle.
  17. Fabric shrinkage will be reduced.
  18. Ambicom is a compound to maintain the UV retention.
Dosage - (3% to 7%) of Ambicom is to be added in one bag of Polymer (25 kgs) keeping the usual formulations unchanged.
